Very pretty section. Tough fishing in the middle of summer
The crowded parking lot might put you off, but the creek is just a stone’s throw away
It’s a drive, but it’s worth it. There are several basic approaches into the Pedlar River for trout fishing

The South River is another great trout fishing river… but it’s road fishing again… the difference is promise.
The north section of the Bullpasture River is a bit of a disappointment

We enjoyed three miles of decent brook trout water on Ramsey’s Draft. Not as good as some of the water in the SNP, but worth the trip
Tough call on how to get to the Hazel River for trout fishing. The evidence seems to indicate that you can park and walk in from the south without trespassing.
