Hogcamp Branch looks great!  We saw it on the way down to fish on the Rose.  While it is right next to a heavily used hiking trail with many, many hikers on it, we did not see anyone with a fishing rod. 

We got there by stopping at Fisher’s Gap on the Skyline Drive and walking down the long road.  However, it looks like you can stop much closer from the map and just follow the signs to Dark Hollow Falls.

Dick checking out one of the pools – you can see the trout suspended just waiting to be caught.  Note the steepness of the trail.  This is a fairly abrupt area as you can see from the map.
