Another kid friendly fishing spot close to DC

This ponds registers a high fish per acre.
Trout – Pine Lake (MD)
A good kid-friendly location
Trout – Paint Branch (MD – Fairland Road Upstream)
The browns on Paint Branch ignore me.. but at least they are there.
Trout Hike – Great Seneca Creek (Black Rock Upstream)
Black Rock is one of the main crossings on the Seneca (MD). Upstream looks pretty good.

Working upstream from the Riffle Ford parking area reveals a nice Maryland stream, but no trout.

The Montgomery County Park system undertook major renovations in 2011 that included dredging the lake to increase the depth and improve boating, fishing and water quality. Route 28 gives you good access to Great Seneca Creek allowing you to go up or downstream.

They stock at the Riffle Ford Road access point, but I came up dry when I fished it in March.
