After a long winter, we are all anxious to get back out on the water! But, don’t rush!

Take the time to inspect your kayak and do the final tune ups required to set you up for a hard season of fishing.

First, be sure you actually finished all the winter maintenance tasks I discussed in the Winter video below!

Then, do at least the following:

  • Wipe down the kayak with 303 protectant
  • Inspect and lubricate your pedal drive unit
  • Check your seat! Tighten the straps if they have loosened up.

Then, get back out on the water as soon as the water temperature plus air temperature is above 120!
