A sinking kayak is everyone’s worst nightmare, and I examine a DIY kayak buoyancy aid that might assist as part of your kayak recovery techniques. Kayak sinking is less likely with additional kayak floatation since the kayak hatches will stay above the waterline and allow you to use your kayak safety gear to finish the job and get to shore safely.
