Need your advice! I take you on a low tide reconnaissance of some of our favorite fishing spots for redfish back in the marsh. Inshore fishing is all about the tides! A key tip I was given early on is that the redfish constantly move to follow the bait and a successful kayak fishing trip means you need to move with them. Steve was a regular columnist for Southern Trout Magazine, where he wrote the "New Fly Guy" column to provide fly anglers with tips, techniques, and other advice between 2012 and 2019. He also wrote the "Kayak Hacks" column for Southern Kayak Fishing magazine from 2015 to 2018, where he served as the Field Editor. Beyond the magazines, he has written six books on fishing.
