Space in your fishing tackle bag or backpack is limited, making it critical to organize the essentials effectively. Here is my setup hack that I use, especially when surf fishing, to keep my pre-tied rigs organized, optimizing storage and making it easy for me to grab the proper rig and know how many I have left.
The trick is in using TABS!

Steve was a regular columnist for Southern Trout Magazine, where he wrote the "New Fly Guy" column to provide fly anglers with tips, techniques, and other advice between 2012 and 2019. He also wrote the "Kayak Hacks" column for Southern Kayak Fishing magazine from 2015 to 2018, where he served as the Field Editor. Beyond the magazines, he has written six books on fishing.
