Here’s the approach to DIY kayak repair for beginners. I show two methods. One using a DIY kayak repair approach recommended by Paddling.com as well as the traditional kayak repair method using the Hobie welding tool made specifically for plastic crack, hole, and hull repair. I also discuss using a heat gun to speed up the process. Keep your fishing kayak in perfect shape! Do a bit of kayak restoration work at the end of the season!
