PVC will deform your kayak if you use it as part of your kayak storage rack PVC based solution! We all like a DIY cart, and I love mine with wheels. BUT! I just read guidance from Hobie that using PVC runners on the stand could deform your HDPE kayak! Here is what I learned and what I am doing to correct the issue on my rolling kayak cart.
