Riding a bike with a fishing rod to a fishing spot is easy with this simple DIY rod carrier. Use a fishing bike to ride along the many trails paralleling great fishing locations like the C&O canal on the Potomac or, as shown here, the Virginia Creeper Trail. Biking gets you away from crowds and puts you on that good spot quickly – resulting in more fishing time. This video shows how to mount a rod on any bike in 30 seconds or less.
