Heavy ebike? No problem. My buddy, Dick, puts me to shame loading bike into truck. His ebike is 65 lbs – loads easy and then he shows how to lock it down. No ebike truck rack is needed. He locks the e bike to the truck bed using rachets – no racks or carriers needed to load on trucks with tiedown points. Give it a try before you spend money on an expensive hitch! In 2015, Steve created the Kayak Hacks Fishing YouTube channel, which focused on gear hacks, fly, spin, and ebike fishing tips. Steve was a regular columnist for Southern Trout Magazine, where he wrote the "New Fly Guy" column to provide fly anglers with tips, techniques, and other advice between 2012 and 2019. He also wrote the "Kayak Hacks" column for Southern Kayak Fishing magazine from 2015 to 2018, where he served as the Field Editor. Beyond the magazines, he has written six books on fishing.
