I needed a light, fat tire ebike for my wife and was stunned to discover the Electric Bike Company (Every bike *Built in America*) allowed me to customize almost everything about their e bikes at NO additional charge. I was able to order a custom ebike cruiser (model R) with 3 inch tires for the beach and only pay the cost of a few upgrades. I elected to go for the torque sensor as well as an upgraded electronics package. Can’t wait for it to arrive! Note – in the summer, during the busy season, there is a charge for colors. And yes, I paid for it… it was not free.
